  AUGA MAGARI
  鉤 逢賀

  Born in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Grandmother is Seishi Magari, founder of Seigaryu. Studied Kenbu from childhood.
  After graduating in economics at Shiga University, she worked for Nidec Corporation before becoming a kenbu master at the age of 24. At 26 years old, she started her own company. At 33 years old, she got married and is now raising two children.
  In 2017, she also graduated from the “Japanese Traditional Culture Course” at Kyoto University of Art and Design, and published a book “Kenbu – A performing art shaped by samurai aesthetics.” (Seigensha, 2020). She plans to enroll in Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Human Environment Studies (Art and Culture) in 2025 and work on her master’s thesis.

  RYUNOSUKE MAGARI
  鉤 隆之介

  He is a master of Seigaryu. Like his sister, Auga, he has practiced kenbu since childhood.
  While a student at Kyoto Computer Gakuen, he began his career as a kenbu instructor. He is the most experienced kenbu stage performer in Japan. He loves anime and video games. His recent goal is to hold an “Anime Otaku Tour” in Nihonbashi, Osaka.

  HISYO ISHIDA
  石田 飛祥

  Born in Oita City, Oita Prefecture. He is the master of Shoten-shindoryu. He began studying iaido and kenbu in junior high school. In his 20s, he worked as a beautician, taught kenbu, and performed on stage. He has a thorough knowledge of Kenbu, iaido, and shigin, and serves as the technical director at the theater.

  HOUGA TOMODA
  鞆田 邦賀

  Born in Osaka, Japan. At the age of 22, he was introduced to the Seiga Kenbu School and began studying Kenbu. At 37 years old, he became a founding member of the company. He is usually a quiet person, but when he is on stage, he creates a unique atmosphere that no one can imitate. He is the head of operations at the theater.
